Question – I have formed a multi-member managed LLC in the state of Delaware. I am not a US citizen and reside in South Africa, so does all members. The LLC’s registered agent is located in Dover.
The intended business the LLC will conduct is e-learning by means of the sale of online project management courses. With the exception of the registered agent address, which doubles as a mail forwarding service, the business does not have a physical address in the US. ALL business will be conducted online and sales will be generated from worldwide sources.
Do I need a Delaware business license in this case?

You will need to register for a business license in Delaware according to the Delaware Department of Revenue.
Any person or entity conducting a trade or business in the State of Delaware is required to obtain a Delaware business license from the Delaware Division of Revenue. This includes entities located in Delaware who conduct their business outside the state.
